The Fourth Annual Ursula Awards Film Festival

Vallejo Community Access Television was proud to present the our Fourth Annual Ursula Awards Film Festival on Friday May 22, 2015 at 7:00pm. It was held at Jesse Bethel High School Little Theater.
The Ursula Awards is our signature annual fundraiser. Each year for the last four years, this special event honors and celebrates the talents and skills of student and non-student videographers and filmmakers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit VCAT. VCAT is a 501 (c) 3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.
VCAT’s goal is to provide students and residents of the community the ability to acquire knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in television production. VCAT provides the training facility, equipment and classes for students and local residents to produce quality television programming.
The Ursula Awards is named in honor of a volunteer who helped in the establishment of Vallejo Community Access Television (VCAT). The tireless efforts of Ursula Morgan-Kane and others dedicated residents helped launch Vallejo Community Access Television within the community of Vallejo. CA. VCAT trains, inspires, educates and provides a resource of free speech, diversity of thoughts, ideals, and expressions.
The Ursula Film Festival strives to bring together producers, directors, sponsors, actors, and attendees for an evening of recognition and interaction. Entries are judged by a panel of judges. No cash prizes will be offered, however categories will be recognized via Awards and Certificates of Film Excellence at the Ursula Awards ceremony.
Professional and non-professional filmmakers and video-makers may enter. Films must have been produced within the past five years. All entries must be submitted in the completed form in which they will be judged.
